Day 9

June 4th: Tigard, Oregon HOME!!!!

We woke up whenever we wanted and then hit the road for the final leg of our long, amazing trip. The kids continued to do awesome and we made it home only stopping once. I was so happy to finally be home, but not happy to begin unpacking. That is really the worst part of vacation. The kids played in the front yard with Oma while we unpacked the rental car.
When we took Joshua out of his car seat, we found his stash of cheerios.

It was a long trip, but the best trip ever! I seriously still sit and think about that trip and all the wonderful things we did. It is my favorite vacation so far. The kids were awesome in the car and it was so fun to have some time alone with just my sweet little family. And it was also great to see some new sites and visit family and friends. We are really blessed to have such amazing people in our lives. What a great trip!!!

Utah Day 8

June 3rd: Our last goodbyes:(
One of the reasons we stayed a little longer in Utah was for Savannah's baby blessing. So, Sunday morning we we so happy to be able to be a part of this special day. After the blessing we said goodbye to the Thayne's and then went to say goodbye to the rest of my family. Did I mention I hate goodbyes?!?

After all the goodbye's were said we hit the road to Boise, Idaho. We stayed at a really nice hotel that night. We arrived in good time, so we just had dinner and hung out in the hotel room. The kids loved it!

Utah Day 7

June 2nd: Goodbyes:(
This was the day we were dreading, when Mom & Tom had to fly home:( We went over and said our goodbyes, which are always super hard to do. As much as my family can drive me crazy, I miss them so much! I just wish we could all live closer.

After saying goodbye we went to watch Nicky play in a church softball game. It was fun to watch her play again, I haven't seen it since before my Dad died.
After softball we headed up to Bountiful to visit Aunt Stephanie and Granny. Their ward was having a car show/BBQ, so we met them there. Then we went back to Stephanie's to visit and the kids watched a movie.

Utah Day 6

June 1st: Felicia's visit!!!
Oh my gosh, I can't even explain how much I love this girl!!! We met 11 years ago when I first moved to Utah. We were both in orientation at Target and they asked us to get out our photo ID. We both got out our Michigan driver's license and we were instant friends! Sadly, life has forced us to live on opposite ends of the  United States, so we do not see each other very often (until recently, because she is coming out to visit me again in a month!!!!)
But, I had not met the twins yet, our kids had never met and I hadn't seen Dave in forever, so I was very excited to see them. It was hard to get our schedules to line up, and we only got to visit for a short time, but I am so glad we were able to! Thanks Dave for making it happen:)
