busy, busy, busy
Well, things are crazy busy right now! We are in the middle of finals, trying to pack and get ready to move and to top it all of the breeze is out of commission. So, in addition to our already busy lives right now we are looking for another car to buy. It's a long story, but to sum it all up they didn't fix it and now it's worse than it was before. So, we're back to sharing the Cavi but hopefully we can find something before we move, we really need the extra space to put boxes. If not, then we will just look for something in Portland. This is probably going to be our last post until things settle down after the move. Don't worry about us, things may be a little crazy right now but it won't last forever:)

Well....
So, we finally got our car back today, hooray:) It is strange driving it after driving the cavi. The oil leak is fixed and so is the air conditioning (that will be great for the drive back to Portland) It cost us a little more than what they quoted us, but still a great price. The Dr's appointment went good, I am going back one more time before we move to have my glucose test done. It sounds very fun. I get to eat a small breakfast, nothing high in sugar so maybe an egg and toast. Then I don't get to eat lunch. I go in and drink some sort of liquid mixture, wait an hour and then get blood drawn. Fun! Oh, and the other great news is I gained 12 pounds in the last 4 weeks (it's hard to type so you can sense my sarcasm, but that is not great news.) I am retaining a lot of water and my fingers are swelling really bad. I can't even wear my wedding ring anymore:( My ankles and feet are starting to swell, but they are not too bad yet. The doctor is not concerned because I don't look like I've gained that much weight but I do need to watch my salt intake. Other than that nothing exciting has happened. Here are some more pictures from me at 24 weeks, us at the Hoggle Zoo and me with a white alligator (there are only 10 in the entire world!)

What a great day:)
Well, yesterday was a great day. We officially became debt free (except student loans which we will never be free off!!!). It is a good feeling not worrying about credit cards! We are taking the Breeze into the shop today so hopefully it will be fixed by next week. Keep your fingers crossed that they don't find anything else wrong with it! The best part of yesterday was when our manager came over last night and told us they found someone to take over our lease!!!! So we signed all the paperwork and we are out of here on June 21st without having to pay anymore rent to Legacy Apartments:) We did have to pay $50 to sign over our contract, which I think is dumb, but it's better than paying $300 to break our contract. It feels good knowing that everything is falling into place. Now the only things left to do are find a dr in Oregon, which I am calling about today because I think I found one, and finding a new place to live. I'm not so stressed out anymore now that things are starting to happen, now I just have to pass Biology before we move, that one is a little tougher to do. The class is so hard!!! Only 6 more classes and then the final......I can do it!!!! Wish me luck:)
Seth only has 2 weeks of work left and then he is done with Gandolfo's. I have my last appointment with Dr. Cherrington today. I'm curious to see how much weight I've gained since the last appointment. My appetite has increased a lot. I get hungry about every 2 hours now. Being pregnant is still a lot of fun, but I am getting into the uncomfortable part of it. My hips are sore and it is getting harder to sleep but I guess that's just preparing me for when Kimmie is born and I don't get to sleep;) Well, I have to study before biology class, I am going to ace this quiz today!!!!

My belly!!!

Ok, so sometimes I just don't feel like my stomach has grown that much...and then I saw this picture and boy was I wrong!!!! This was taken at 21 weeks, I am now 23 weeks. I thought I might be embarrassed to let other people see this picture but I LOVE it!! It's crazy that inside that belly is a little baby girl.
Well, what's happened since Mother's Day???? We went to the Utah Zoo yesterday with Rossii & Angie. It was so much fun! They have a white alligator there and it was really cool. There are only 10 in the world so it was fun to see something so rare. Ross & Angie are doing great and they are so much fun. If only they could move with us! We also went to Aunt Stephanie's and planted flowers (well, Seth planted flowers and I gave moral support). Then we went to see Pirates 3. It was good, but LONG! It was a long day and we went right to bed when we got home. Today has just been a lazy day. We went to church and then we watched the first Pirates movie and now Seth is taking a nap.
School is going ok. I applied for graduation so if I can pass all my classes and finish my math by August I will have my associates degree. Only 3 1/2 weeks until we move and I can't wait! I started packing and I didn't realize how much stuff we have!
The breeze is still out of order. Seth and Scott spent many, many, many, many hours trying to get one stupid bolt off but we unsuccessful. So, the only option we have left is taking it somewhere and paying them to fix it:( We already bought all the parts so that should save us money but hopefully they don't find anything else wrong with it. Big thanks to Seth and Scott for working so hard on it!!!!

Mother's Day
So, my first mother's day was great! Seth made me breakfast in bed (waffles and a big glass of milk). Then he packed a lunch for us and we drove up to Park City. We spent a couple hours walking around and then we headed back home. It was a beautiful day so the drive through the canyon was gorgeous. When we got home Seth made my favorite dinner, pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy and homemade rolls. It was delicious...maybe too delicious because I ate so much I thought my stomach was going to explode. Seth also had stuff to make brownies with ice cream and caramel topping for dessert, but I was just too full so we are going to do that sometime this week. After dinner we went to Seth's work and watched the Red Wings game. Gandolfo's is not open on Sundays so we had the entire place to ourselves. Sadly, the wings lost in overtime, but it was a good game. We didn't get home until late and so we went to bed. As we were laying there I was thinking about how strange it was that Seth didn't get me a present for Mother's Day. It's just not like him, he normally has things planned far in advance. Earlier, when he brought me my breakfast, he wrote me a beautiful letter and explained that he was not able to get me a present. I understood, since money is kind of tight with me not working. But, right around 11:30 p.m. I brought it up to him. I explained that I wasn't mad that he didn't buy me anything, but I just wanted to know what happened. I know, it makes me seem like such a brat and I feel terrible about that. Right then he handed me a paper with a map on it. It was a map of our apartment and where I needed to look for my present. Man, did I feel like a brat! After following the map I was led to a letter and two tickets to the Faith Hill & Tim McGraw concert!!! I started crying, of course! I was really excited because I really wanted to go to the concert, but I felt like such a brat for bringing up him not buying me a present. He made me wait all day, but it was worth it:) He said he made me wait so that it would be more of a surprise and it sure was!!!!! Seth is so great and I love him so much. I know he doesn't even like country music, but he is willing to sit through one night of all country just to make me smile. I am so lucky! My first mother's day was great! I will never forget it!

Us at Gandolfo's watching the game
Other than that we are still keeping busy with school. I am so excited for this summer term to be over. We are moving in less than 6 weeks, I can't believe it! Well, I have to study for two tests tomorrow so I should go. I hope everyone has a great week!!!!

Sorry!!!
Ok, sorry it's been so long since we've posted anything. Things have been crazy lately! We went to the Grand Canyon/Las Vegas in the end of April. We drove to the Grand Canyon and spent the day there. It was nice. Neither one of us had ever been there so it was fun. The weather was beautiful but it was really windy! Then we drove to Vegas the next day. We stopped at Hoover Dam along the way and it was so busy there! Traffic was insane. When we finally made it to Vegas we checked into our hotel, Excalibur, and then walked the entire strip! It rained a little at first, but then it was just really windy. We wanted to see the water show but it was cancelled because of wind. Walking the strip was long, but I did it:) We ate dinner at the buffet in our hotel and then just spent the rest of the night hanging out. Then we headed back to Utah the next morning. On the way back we hit a bad snow storm in Utah, and a little bit of car trouble, but overall it was a great trip. Now we can cross the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Las Vegas off our list of places we want to see.
School started last week and so far it seems like we will survive the next 7 1/2 weeks. It will be tough, but we can do it! Seth is taking public speaking and intro to business while still working 40 hours a week. I am taking Ethics & values, american heritage, biology and intro to business. We are also taking a math class independent study. Our days are pretty full, but we do get a couple hours between work and school to have dinner together. Since the classes are crammed into 7 1/2 weeks we have a lot of work to do. Our last final is June 20, so we are planning to move to Portland on June 21st!! I'm really excited! Tina was able to borrow Scott's aunts trailer, so they are going to drive a truck, pulling the trailer and we are going to drive our cars. Right now our Breeze is temporarily out of order, but we are working on getting it back on the road. So we have been sharing the cavi for about a month. It's not so bad because our schedules are just right for sharing a car. I am no longer working and so I take Seth to work in the morning or he bikes to work.
We had our 20 week ultrasound done on Friday. The doctor checked everything! Kimmie is growing right on track and all of her organs are functioning correctly. We were able to see all four chambers of her heart and it was amazing! She is doing great and I can feel her move now which is an amazing feeling. She is very active! I have gained 5 pounds since my last appointment which is great! I didn't gain very much in the beginning so now I'm making up for it.
Seth's brother Scott came into town on Friday also. We went to their friend Rossii's wedding yesterday. It was really nice. Unfortunately it rained all day, but they are a great couple and it was really nice that we were able to share their special day with them. Scott leaves tomorrow and it's back to our busy week again. We don't have anything planned for this month except eat, sleep, work and study. I will try not to let another month go by before I post another blog:) Here are some recent pictures!
