The kids love playing with playdough lately. Their favorite thing to do is "make pizza" and then they put it into the "oven" (the oven happens to also be my Tupperware drawer). It is great seeing them be so creative. They are so fun!

It's a.......
BABY...
BOY!!!
Looks like Kimmie was right, I have a baby brother in my belly. He is growing great and I am feeling huge, but doing great too. Now it's time to get the boy clothes out of storage and get painting, I don't think he would enjoy a purple butterfly room:)

Crafty...
So last November we had a relief society activity where they taught us how to make aprons. Ever since then I have been a little obsessed with sewing and I have been making all sorts of gifts for people. For Christmas I gave all the girls homemade aprons...and I have a little surprise for them this year that I cannot blog about yet. But, I have also been making things for the kids too. I finally gifted out the first one, so I can finally blog about it. The best part is, they are super affordable to make, the aprons only cost about $10-15 each and the activity books varied from $3-$6 each. Here are some pictures of what I have been doing...
I forgot to take pictures of the aprons I made at Christmas, but luckily I got one of this one I made for Felicia

It is reversible

Here is what I made for Kimmie. It is a little activity book to take to church, no more lugging around tons of crayons and coloring books. Kimmie's was the first I made so it has a lot of flaws;)

the inside (this picture should be flipped, but I couldn't get it to) I forgot to take a picture of the back, but it is the same tangled fabric that lines the pockets.

This is the second one I made for Lizzy's birthday present.

I decided to add more pockets for colored pencils, so it's a little different than Kimmie's.

the back (the fabric was puckering a bit, but I figured out how to fix that one when I did #3)

This is the 3rd one I made, for David. I made his strap a little too thick, but I am too lazy to change it!

I decided to do crayons for him (I also couldn't rotate this pic, but you get the idea)

and I fixed the puckering so it lays flatter now

I have been having a blast sewing and doing crafts. Thanks to my great friends who stayed up late to teach me how to make these!!!

29 years young!
Last Sunday I celebrated my 29th birthday. Wow, I can't believe I am almost 30;) Seth took me out Saturday night. We celebrated with our friends Katie and John. First we went to eat at Helvetia Tavern...best burgers ever! After dinner we went and saw Just Go With It...I haven't laughed that hard in so long. Then we went back to Katie and John's for some birthday cake, it was delicious of course. After chatting for a while we headed home, but on the way I decided I was hungry again so Seth took me to Ringside Steakhouse to get some yummy steak-bites. We got home way too late, but had an amazing time! Sunday we went to church and then for dinner Seth made homemade pizzas. Pizza is my favorite food so it was the perfect dinner to celebrate my birthday. For my present, Seth is taking me to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat tomorrow night. I am so excited to see it again, we went when we were first married and loved it. Last night Seth also spoiled me by making dinner and a cake for me. I think I gained about twenty pounds this weekend, but it was worth it. So far 29 has been lots of fun!

16 weeks
Today I am 16 weeks. We find out on March 8th what we are having...Kimmie keeps telling everyone it's a little brother.
He looks so grown up in this picture.
Kimmie is really into making silly faces for pictures now, so it is very difficult to get one of her just "normal". I was happy to get this picture, she loves wearing this hat. I can't believe she is going to be 4 this August, time is flying by!!!
We had a great Valentines Day. Seth and the kids suprised me with chocolate, candy, flowers and Hungry Howies Pizza:) It was a great day. After the kids went to bed we stayed up and watched Life As We Know It. It's a cute movie, I like it.
Valentines Day was great, but really every day is great! I am such a lucky girl. I have an AMAZING husband who I just love so much and two (soon to be 3) kids that just mean the world to me. It is hard to believe that just 5 years ago Seth and I had just barely met, and here we are about to be a family of five. Life changes so fast, but I wouldn't change a thing!

3 of these things are not like the others....
Kimmie loves to play with her Princesses. But wait, there are 3 Princesses missing.....
Here they are!
Apparently Kimmie does not consider Jasmine, Mulan or Pocahontas "Princesses" so she refuses to play with them. She explained to us that they are not wearing dresses, so they are not princesses. We think it's hilarious, she refuses to play with them. It's just a coincidence she only plays with the white ones;)
And no post would be complete without a picture of our handsome little man!!
