My parents came in for a short visit to meet Joshua and see Kimmie and David. My poor mom only gets to see her grand kids about twice a year, and it is always very hard for her to leave. Yesterday while we were in the car, my mom was telling Kimmie how sad she is to be leaving them. Kimmie's response was so sweet...here is how the conversation went....My mom: "Grandma is sad because I have to leave tomorrow."
Kimmie: "That's ok Grandma, we have today!"
What a great lesson we can learn from Kimmie. Don't focus so much on tomorrow that you forget to enjoy today!!
