playing = trip to the dentist!

Sunday night Kimmie was playing and fell. She split her lip open and also chipped her front tooth. She hit the ground so hard she actually took a chunk out of our hard wood floor! So scary to watch!!! She was such a little trooper and was back to playing in no time. Today we took her to the dentist and they said it looks like the tooth will not die. We have to monitor her gums and make sure it doesn't get any worse. Since it is a baby tooth there isn't much they will do. They put some bonding on the corner so it isn't so sharp. Now she looks like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber:)

Daisy

Cute little Daisy!

Welcome Daisy Thayne!

Our friends Angie & Rossii had their first baby this morning, a little girl named Daisy. She is 6lbs 8oz and 22 inches long. We are so excited for them! Great job Angie:) We love you guys and are so excited to meet Daisy!!!

Family Vacation

Last weekend we took a family vacation out the Bend, Oregon. We haven't done a family vacation since Seattle 2007 (before Kimmie was born & Christopher and Nathan hadn't left on their missions yet). We rented a house in Sunriver and spent 4 nights there. It was so nice to get away. One day two deer walked right up to our patio. One even got close enough for Seth to feed him! One of the days we took Kimmie to an indoor pool, which she LOVED! Those pictures are on Cyndy's camera, so I will post them later. On the way home we stopped at Silver Falls and the Woodburn Tulip Festival. The falls were beautiful. They had trails you could hike that went behind the fall. It was a lot of fun. Kimmie LOVES the water, we had to drag her away from it! We have a TON of pictures, so I won't explain them all, but enjoy!

Easter & my newest craft project

Easter was great. Kimmie looked gorgeous, as usual, in her Sunday dress. After we got her dressed she put on her sunglasses and started saying "star! star!" because she thinks she is a movie star with her sunglasses on. Such a cute girl!!

I really wanted to make something fun to put Kimmie's pictures on. I have so many I want to put up, but I didn't want to buy a ton of frames. So, yesterday I went to Jo Ann Fabrics & bought this fabric for $2.50 for one yard. The entire project cost me under $10! I love it! Now I just need to print out more pictures to put up!

A train

One of Kimmie's favorite movies is Dumbo. Whenever the train is on screen she always makes her train noise right on cue. It is hard to catch on camera, but here is a little preview of it.
