10 weeks

I am 10 weeks along, almost 11, and things are going great. There was a couple days where I got sick, but it passed quickly. Here is the latest ultrasound, taken yesterday. I love how he/she is actually starting to look like a baby instead of a little bean.

I forgot to post this picture earlier, but I just love it! This horse was given to Kimmie by Seth's Aunt Stephanie when she was about 18 months old and it scared her so bad! She would cry every time we brought it out, so we put it away for a while. We thought it was time to see if David was scared of it too, but he LOVES it. He was wearing his Woody pj's and riding Bullseye. He loves that horse!

This was taken on New Years Eve right before we headed out to a friends party. After I got David dressed I realized he looked like Marty McFly from Back to the Future. Oh well, he still looks handsome as can be!

Here we are watching a movie around 11:45pm, trying to kill time before midnight and also make the kids tired. They refused to fall asleep and stayed up until the ball dropped at midnight. You may also be wondering what happened to Seth's eye. While we were at that crazy New Years Eve party, one of the kids there accidentally head bunted Seth in the eye while playing keep away. It split open immediately and needed stitches. But, Seth did not think he needed to go to the hospital so we superguled it shut and it actually worked great. It has healed great and will barely be a scar.

The first Sunday of January Kimmie moved up to the Sunbeams class at church and she was so excited! She loves going to sharing time and singing new songs. This is the picture from her first day as a Sunbeam!

Of course I had to get a picture of David wearing his new suit to church It may look familiar because he had the same one when he was around 9 months old. I got it on clearance at Babies R Us and I happen to be in there the other day and they had it on clearance again. What a steal!!!

18 months old...

and already driving:)
David turned 18 months last Sunday. He had his check-up this week and weighs 29 lbs 0.5 oz. He is 34 3/4 inches long and his head circumference is 19 3/4 inches. He says over 20 words and is talking more and more each day. He is still in the 97th percentile for height and 85th for weight. The doctor is so excited to see just how tall he is going to be and so are we! He is growing so fast and is so curious and into everything! He has even learned to tease Kimmie, which is his new favorite thing to do. But those two love each other so much, it is adorable!!!

August 4, 2011

We will become a family of 5!!

We found out on Seth's birthday (Nov. 24th) that we are expecting baby #3:) This ultrasound was taken yesterday and they said I am 6 weeks along, making my due date August 4, 2011! We were even able to see the heartbeat, a strong 120 BPM. I am feeling great and we are all so excited. Kimmie keeps telling everyone she has a baby sister in her belly and that mommy has a baby brother in her belly. It's so cute!

And just so we are all aware, there is only one baby in there. That other spec you see is the yolk sac.

I am thankful for...

These two smiling faces are the BEST!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have so much to be thankful for (mostly that no one got sick from my cooking!) I made all of the Thanksgiving dinner this year and tried a new recipe for the turkey from my friend Shanan's blog. I also used her recipe for cranberry sauce and pumpkin cheesecake. It was all delicious!! You should definitely check out her recipes, they are super easy and always yummy!!

The day before Thanksgiving was Seth's birthday. I made him German pancakes for breakfast (my first time ever and I am pretty proud of how they turned out!) Seth had to go to work for a bit, but after that we went to dinner with the kids and just spent the night hanging out as a family. It was so much fun! Happy Birthday babe, we love you SO MUCH!!!!!

Snow day...

School was canceled because of snow...
Can you believe that??? Well, actually they canceled school because of snow/ice on the roads. But still, isn't Oregon crazy, they can't handle even the littlest amount of snow. I sure hope everyone else is enjoying their "snow day!"

Dancing fools...

The kids love dancing and David has learned some new moves that keep us entertained. Here is a video from last night while they were watching Sleeping Beauty. Sorry about the quality, it was taken on our phone. (be sure to check out the post before this one too!)
