Kimmie's birthday & check-up

On August 16, 2016 our sweet Kimmie had a birthday. She is the best 9 year old ever! She is so kind, loyal, fun and MUCH MUCH MORE! She has many talents, especially music. That girl can hear a song 1 time and have it memorized! We love her so much and love watching her grow into an amazing young woman. I can't believe how close we are to teen years!

She wanted a Shopkins cake & since Aunt Nicky was here visiting, we celebrated early. Then on her birthday we went to Olive Garden after dropping Nicky off at the airport. We had a great dinner and Kimmie even got a free birthday dessert. 

9 year check-up stats:

Height: 4'7" (84th percentile)

Weight: 83 lbs (81st percentile)

Overall: 82nd percentile

Mt. Adams

Have I mentioned how amazing Seth is?!? One, of the many, things I love about him is he is very adventurous. If he wants to do something, he just does it. There is no fear. He has been a great example to me to be less afraid and try more. One thing he's been wanting to do for a while is climb Mt. Adams. In August he & our friend Jon Taylor set out to do just that. Seth planned it all out, rented the proper equipment, and showed me lots of videos to ensure it wasn't a dangerous climb:)
They weren't able to complete the summit because of weather, but it was still great accomplishment and I'm sure he'll do it again....maybe I'll even do it with him!!
