Vancouver/San Jaun Islands Day 2 April 17th, 2014

We loved our hotel this night, woke up happy, had a delicious breakfast, and headed to the boarder. Our first stop in Canada was the Vancouver Temple. I had mapped it all out, but unfortunately we ran into a slight problem...my map stopped short of the temple and led us to a church meeting house instead, but after lots of prayer (I knew Seth would never let me live this down if we didn't get there) we were told the temple was just a minute drive down the road, we stopped too early. We found it! Then we headed to Stanley Park, downtown Vancouver and then to the ferry terminal. We took the ferry to Victoria, Vancouver Island. We went to the Butchart Gardens, drove around the island, checked into our very misleading hotel, went to Costco and bought Kinder Eggs, had dinner and went to bed.

Vancouver/San Jaun Islands Day 1 April 16th, 2014

Seth is so great, he always takes us in little mini-vacations and this year he took us to Vancouver, BC/San Juan Islands. It was so much fun. I love these little getaways with my sweet little family!
Seth started a new job and had orientation the day we were leaving, so I dropped him off and packed the car while he was at work. I was also in charge of mapping out our trip...something that would be very important since we did not have cell phone access in Canada...and made for a very funny story:) Once Kimmie got home from school we picked Seth up and hit the road. The first day we drove up to the Washington/Canada boarder.
