Pumpkin patch

Since Uncle Scott is in town for the week, we have been trying to spend as much time with him as possible. One thing he suggested was we should go to the pumpkin patch. So yesterday we went. Of course Aunt Cyndy spoiled them and got them tickets to play and they each picked out a pumpkin. The only rule was they had to be able to carry their own pumpkin, that helped us avoid getting a huge pumpkin. And of course the trip wouldn't be complete without getting fresh cider and donuts:) That night we had a delicious new dinner for new recipe Wednesday. Today the kids each painted their pumpkin.

We spend our days....

 Going to the zoo
 going to walks
 watching our new 50" TV:)
going to the zoo some more

watching our friends get baptized
sitting in the rain for our tradition of going to the Beaverton high school vs. Southridge foot ball game
and giving lots of kisses (Joshua and Sutton)

Joshua's ouchie

I am not sure what happened, but Joshua tripped behind the chair and the toy he was holding went straight into his lip. It was so sad, but luckily it healed quickly and didn't seem to bother him. Now you can't even tell it ever happened.

Bowling

For family night we took the kids to Big Al's for bowling and pizza. They loved it. I was surprised, all three kids are actually pretty good bowlers. I didn't bowl, I just watched, but it was a very fun, relaxing family night out.

Beaverton Farmers Market

We took the kids to the market, which they liked, but the best part was when we were leaving I did something that is not like me at all....I let them play in the fountain with their clothes on! Usually I would have stopped them, especially since it was so cold out that day, but they were having so much fun so I decided to let loose and relax a bit:) I am glad I did because it is a great memory for me. We didn't have any towels, so we stripped them down when we got to the car and dried them off when we got home.
