Kimmie is in 1st grade and LOVES it!! David is in preschool and LOVES it!! I sure hope their love of school lasts. They are both always coming home telling us all the fun, new stuff they learned. The hard part is Kimmie spends more waking hours at school than she does with us :( David only goes for 2 1/2 hours, 3 times a week which is perfect. I love his preschool, they are so nice and really teach the kids to be kind. Joshua sure does miss his big brother and sister while they are gone, but we are enjoying having some alone time with him.

Kimmie is growing so fast. She has lost 2 teeth and is more grown up with each passing day.

Weight: 60 lbs 12 oz (95th percentile)

Height: 3'11 5/8" (85th percentile)

Blood Pressure: 92/54

95th percentile overall

Kimmie is such a sweet girl and a huge help. She loves to read and do puzzles. I think her favorite thing to do is snuggle and watch a movie. She is the best big sister. She is always watching the boys, and sometimes bossing them around:) She is so sweet, smart and talented. She draws the best pictures. We sure do love our little girl!

David 4 year check-up

I was a little behind getting the kids to their well child checks. But here is the info for David.

Weight: 44 lbs 12 oz (95th percentile)

Height: 3'8" (97th percentile)

Blood Pressure: 94/46

He is the 75th percentile overall and the are predicting he will be 6'4" by age 18.

He loves to run around and play. He is so sweet to his brother and sister. He loves building with legos. He makes rockets and guns. He also LOVES video games, we really have to watch him because he would play all day...and he's really, really good at them too!

Drive-in Movie

On August 31st we surprised the kids with a trip to the drive-in to see Disney Planes. The movie wasn't that great, but the kids loved it and we all had a great time. It was a very fun night!

Glucose test

So I failed my 1-hour glucose test, twice, so because of my history of big babies, and family history of diabetes, my midwife wanted me to take the 3-hour fasting test. I was not excited, but I did it anyway. It wasn't that bad, just boring. You fast for 8 hours, then they draw your blood. Then they give you a delicious....not...sugar drink and draw your blood every hour for 3 hours after that. They were nice enough to give me a blanket and pillow and I brought the ipad to keep me entertained. I am happy to say I passed, I do not have gestational diabetes. But, I have still been trying to watch my sugar intake so hopefully this baby won't be another 10.9 pounder like baby Joshua!

Kimmie's "Sunday" birthday dinner

This girl had so many birthday celebrations, it was crazy! When we got back into town we did our usual Sunday dinner and since she was the birthday girl, she got to choose what we had for dinner. She picked nachos. Then we had cake and ice cream. She wanted a kit kat cake, so I went online and found this super easy and very delicious one to make.
